I am sending several pictures of our cedar deck and custom built pine storage sheds so that you can select the ones you like for use on your website or brochures. You should be able to discern which ones are:
-Before cleaning with dirt, mildew, etc .
-After cleaning with the amazing Oxyboost product & pressure washer. I would highly recommend Oxyboost as the cleaning agent.
-Then application of one coat of Timber Ox Green Butternut stain/wood protectant
Once correct preparation of the wood is achieved, application of Timber Ox Green is very easy and fast to apply. I used one application with a large paint brush for the floors/posts/rails but sprayed the lattice with a hand pump industrial garden sprayer. It is important to cover plants, a finished patio below, windows, house walls, etc., especially if spraying the stain on to the wood. This however would be same necessity when applying any other stains or paint. The citrus scent was a treat instead the terrible toxic odour experienced with non green off the shelf products such as Thompson, Cabot, etc..
The entire deck and storage sheds turned out beautifully as you can see in the pictures. The wood looks new and fresh again. As it turned out we had a lot of rain after the stain was dry and I can easily see the water sitting on the surface of the horizontal floorboards until it evaporated and not absorbed into the wood. Time will tell how the product holds up over the next few winters and summers but I am confident it will be as the manufacturer warrantees. I will see how the floorboards turn out next summer as our deck is exposed to full sunshine and gets very hot that we cannot walk on it barefooted. I may consider putting on a second coat on the floorboards only if deemed necessary.
